A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1981 for "The Empire Strikes Back", sequel to 1977's "Star Wars".

Perhaps the most highly regarded of the Star Wars sequels. This poster is from the 1981 U.S. re-release of the film.

Based on a story by George Lucas the film starred Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Billy Dee Williams (as "Lando Calrissian"), Frank Oz (as "Yoda") and a host of actors now very familiar to all movie fans.

Note that this poster has never been folded and as our hi-res photos show, is in superb condition with only minor signs of being handled during its forty plus years. It will look amazing framed and on the wall of any Star Wars fan!

The art from this single-sided movie poster is by legendary movie poster artist Tom Jung. It would also figure, in a reworked style, on the 1982 re-release poster.
