A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1986 for Bertrand Tavernier's musical drama "Round Midnight", inspired by the memoir 'Dance of the Infidels' by French author Francis Paudras.

Dexter Gordon stars as Dale Turner, a struggling jazz saxophonist who moves to Paris in an attempt to break his spiralling substance abuse. Can his friendship with a French graphic designer and his daughter save him?

With guest appearances by Herbie Hancock, Philippe Noiret and Wayne Shorter, this critically acclaimed movie would earn Gordon a 'Best Actor' Oscar nomination. Hancock would take home an Academy Award for his incredible musical score. (Which is washing over me beautifully as I type.)

By the way, lead actor Dexter Gordon is better known as a real-life saxophonist and one of the most influential early pioneers of Bebop jazz!
