A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from a 1980s release of Jim Sharman's cult horror musical "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", based on the 1973 stage production by Richard O'Brien.

Originally released in 1975, Rocky Horror hit cinemas as Steven Spielberg's Jaws was re-writing box office records. In keeping with the humour of the film, the Rocky Horror posters featured blood red lips with the tagline "a different kind of Jaws"!

This movie poster is a little bit of an oddity. It is identical in every way to a poster from the original 1975 release of the film. However, the printer's union logo is different and as that was only trademarked in 1983, we believe that this poster was used for a 1980's re-release, printed from the original 1975 plates. It even carries the 1975 NSS number!

As our photos show, it is in superb condition, never folded, and will look incredible framed and on display. A real collector's piece!
