A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from the 1962 release of Hamilton Luske and Ben Sharpsteen's Disney fairy tale "Pinocchio", released in 1940 but based on the 1883 children's book "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Italian author and journalist Carlo Collodi.

The second of Disney's animated movies, it became the first animated feature film to win a competitive Oscar - actually winning two - for Best Music (Original Score) and Best Music (Original Song) for "When You Wish Upon A Star".

However, due in part to World War II, the movie was initially a box office disaster. The post war release (1945) was however a great success and this beautiful film is now recognised as an animation classic, with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

This absolutely incredible movie poster was produced for use in U.S. movie theatres for the 1962 release of the film. It was issued tri-folded (so folded horizontally, but not vertically), but has been stored flat for some time, so will ship rolled.

Now over sixty years old, this is a real piece of Disney history. It does show signs of its age around the edges. but these will frame out and as our photos show, it will look amazing once framed and on the wall of any Disney fan! Please do check out our hi-res photos. We love it!
