A guaranteed original U.K. quad movie poster from 2022 for the 4K restoration double bill of "1965's "Dr. Who & The Daleks" and 1966's "Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. ".
Filmed at Shepperton Studios, the first of two Doctor Who films stars Peter Cushing as the Time Lord from Gallifrey. Transported to a strange planet by the TARDIS, the Doctor and his companions come across strange cyborgs who refer to themselves as "The Daleks"!
In 1966's return, Earth now belongs to the Daleks. Deep below London, hidden in the underground railway tunnels, are a group of freedom fighters. Can the doctor help them destroy the Daleks and take back the planet?
In April 2022 Studio Canal announced that they had digitally restored the two films to 4k standard and that they would be shown in a very limited double-bill release. This wonderful poster was produced for this event, with incredible artwork by New York based artist Johnny Dombrowski.
It has never been folded and is in superb condition. As our photos show, it will look incredible framed and on display. Being double-sided, it could be displayed in an Art of the Movies Quad Light Box or traditional framing. Either way, this is a rare and amazing poster for any Doctor Who fan!
