What a 1960's classic!

A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster for Peter Yates' neo-noir action thriller, "Bullitt", based on Robert L. Pike's 1963 novel "Mute Witness".

Perhaps one of the coolest films of the late '60s stars Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset and an incredible San Francisco car chase! In 2003, film critic and professor of cinema studies Emmanuel Levy wrote that "Bullitt contains one of the most exciting car chases in film history, a sequence that revolutionized Hollywood's standards."

A connected film has been announced, with Steven Spielberg directing. A car chase by him - now that is exciting!

This is one of the most iconic movie poster of the 1960's! It was issued with both a glossy and a matte finish. This example is one of the rarer matte posters. At some point in its fifty plus years, it has been linen-backed and as our photos show, will look amazing framed and on display!

By the way, the original novel was written under a pseudonym. The real author's name? Robert L. Fish!

By the way again, the car chase scene can be seen playing at the drive-in in Need for Speed!
