A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from the fiftieth anniversary release of Joseph L. Mankiewicz's 1950 romantic drama "All About Eve", starring Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, George Sanders, Celeste Holm, Gary Merrill, Hugh Marlowe, Thelma Ritter, Marilyn Monroe, Gregory Ratoff, Barbara Bates and Walter Hampton.
Based on a 1946 short story by Mary Orr, All About Eve tells of an ageing Broadway star and an ambitious young fan who manages to gain her favour with tales of a hard upbringing. Is the young Eve all she seems, or is she simply using the actress to gain her own stardom?
Considered one of the greatest films ever made, it was the first film to receive fourteen Oscar nominations (a record it still holds with Titanic and La La Land) and the only film to receive nominations for four female performances.
In celebration of the film's fiftieth anniversary, Fox Searchlight Pictures gave the movie a very limited October 2000 re-release. This fantastic movie poster was produced for that release, reusing the design of the original poster, even including the original 1950 NSS code!
It has never been folded and is in super condition. Being double-sided it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing.
