This is an unusual one! 

A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1981 for Richard Lester's super-hero sequel "Superman II", starring Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel.

The sequel to 1978's genre defining Superman stars Reeve and Margot Kidder ('Lois Lane'), with the superb Gene Hackman as an amazing 'Lex Luther' and Terence Stamp as 'General Zod', a convict from Superman's home planet. 

This wonderful single-sided movie poster showing Superman about to take on the banished Krypton criminals, has us a little stumped. As was usual for the time, the original 1983 posters were 27x41 inches and nearly all were folded. This example is 27x40 inches and unfolded. The print quality is just like the original release, so we think the artwork was printed from the same plates, most probably for a post 1980's re-release of the film. 

As our photos show, it is in wonderful condition and will look fantastic framed and on display!
