This is an unusual one! 

An original commercial one sheet poster from 2006 for Richard Lester's 1983 D.C. Comics super-hero sequel "Superman 3 / III", starring Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel.

When corrupt businessman Ross Webster exposes Superman to synthetic Kryptonite, can the super-hero beat his own demon and then defeat a self-aware super-computer?

Joining the quite superb Reeve are Richard Pryor, Jackie Cooper, Marc McClure, Annette O'Toole, Annie Ross, Pamela Stephenson, Robert Vaughn and Margot Kidder, in a sequel that split critics, but is remembered fondly for the combination of Reeve's Superman and Richard Prior's unexpected computer programming genius, Gus Gorman.

This wonderful single-sided movie poster had us a little stumped. As was usual for the time, the original 1983 posters were 27x41 inches and nearly all were folded. This example is 27x40 inches and unfolded, but the print quality is just like the original release. A fellow movie poster collector cleared up the confusion. This poster was produced by Warner Bros in 2006 to support the release of the Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition 14 Disc DVD set. Apparently, those that purchased the set were able to order the posters too.

So, this poster was not produced to support a cinema release of the film, but, it is too good for us not to offer it!

As our photos show, it is in wonderful condition and will look fantastic framed and on display!
