A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 2006 for Bryan Singer's super-hero adventure "Superman Returns", based on the DC comic character created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in the 1930's.

Serving as a new third film to 1978's "Superman" and 1980's "Superman II", the movie finds Superman returning to Earth five years after he left in search of survivors from his home planet, Krypton. While Clark Kent slots back in to his job at the Daily Planet, his alter ego has difficulty adjusting to the new world he finds around him.

With Brandon Routh as 'Clark Kent' / 'Superman' and Kate Bosworth as 'Lois Lane' and released in June 2006, Superman Returns would go on take $390M at the box office while receiving critical acclaim for Singer's story and direction.

By the way, two years after his death Marlon Brando reprised the role of Superman's father, Jor-El. Singer had access to footage from the original film, supplementing that with CGI where needed.

This wonderful movie poster sees Superman weightless in space over the eastern coast of the USA. It is in superb condition and being double-sided is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing.
