A guaranteed original U.K. Quad movie poster from 1978 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"),Peter Cushing (as "Grand Moff Tarkin"), Alec Guinness (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, as Obi-Wan Kenobi) and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This is such an historic poster, with the famous artwork by Tom William Chantrell. It was originally issued folded, but has been stored flat for some time and so will be shipped rolled. It is untouched and completely original, the best folded example we have ever seen. 

It is, quite simply, a stunning example of this increasingly hard to find poster.

This is a holy-grail poster for many collectors. A true legend of a movie poster that will look superb framed and on display.
