A guaranteed original French 'petite' movie poster from 2013 for Frank Simon's 1971 Formula 1 racing documentary "Weekend of a Champion" produced by Roman Polanski.

Filmed in 1971, this time-capsule documentary follows racing driver Jackie Stewart as he competes at the Monaco Grand Prix in pursuit of his second Formula One World Title.

Originally shown at the Berlin Film Festival and given a small theatrical showing in Europe, the film lay un-displayed for forty years.  When the lab holding the film contacted Polanski to see if he still wanted the negatives, he decided to remix and recut the film, finally adding fifteen minutes of present day interviews with Jackie Stewart. 

The re-cut film was then shown at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

This fantastic French poster has never been folded and as our photos show, is in super condition. It is the only example we have found to date.
