A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1983 for John Landis' revenge comedy "Trading Places", starring Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Ralph Bellamy, Don Ameche, Denholm Elliott, Jamie Lee Curtis and Frank Oz.

Apparently, the story was inspired by two competitive, wealthy but frugal brothers that the writer, Timothy Harris, played tennis against! Couple that with the greed of the 1980's and the deprivation of downtown Los Angeles and Trading Places (initially called Black and White) was born.

Released around the same time as Return of the Jedi, Superman III and Octopussy the film's stellar box office ($120M against a production budget of $15M) is testament to the fantastic script and performances in this much loved 1980's comedy!

We have only ever found two unfolded example of this poster before and as our photos show, this third one is in lovely condition. It will look fantastic framed and on display. A real collector's piece.
