A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1984 for the movie that launched the mockumentary genre, Rob Reiner's brilliant "This Is Spinal Tap", starring Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, Ron Reiner and Tony Hendra.

Largely improvised (apparently over 12 hours of footage was shot), the movie follows "one of England's loudest bands", heavy metal outfit Spinal Tap as they embark on an American tour. There are so many laugh out loud moments in this film, from the amps that go to eleven, to the smallest stone-henge set ever seen and an exploding drummer. I am smiling just typing this description!

Despite a modest box office return, it was the film's release on home video that found its audience. Now a cult favourite, it is also critically acclaimed as an important piece of film-making, even being recognised by the American Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant." Who would have thought it?
