A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1983 for Philip Kaufman's biographical astronaut drama "The Right Stuff", starring Charles Frank, Scott Glenn, Ed Harris, Lance Henriksen, Scott Paulin, Dennis Quaid and Sam Shepard.

Based on the 1979 book by author and journalist Tom Wolfe, The Right Stuff follows the Navy, Air Force and Marine pilots who were involved in the earliest days of the U.S. manned space programme, including NASA's Mercury space programme. 

While it struggled at the box office, The Right Stuff was nominated for eight Academy Awards and took home four Oscars. It has also been added to the United States National Film Registry.

With NASA soon to return to manned space flight with the Artemis missions, a new generation of men and women are now proving that they too, have 'the right stuff'!

The artwork on this wonderful single-sided movie poster is by the legendary Tom Jung. It has never been folded and only shows a few minor signs of its forty plus years. We love it.
