An original promotional still from 1957 of Marilyn Monroe. Given the date, it is likely to have been used for promotion of "The Prince and the Showgirl", released in the Summer of '57.
This incredible still captures a beautiful portrait of the "blonde bombshell". It is quite common for stills of this era to have stamps and stickers on the reverse that help with establishing a precise age for the piece. In this case, there are none. It was sourced from a large U.S. archive, so we are certain of its authenticity, but have no clues to be able to age it accurately. It may be from a re-release rather then the original 1957 release.
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and acrylic glazing with high UV resistance. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, The Prince and the Showgirl was produced and directed by Laurence Olivier!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This still is priced framed. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
