A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1959 for "The Mysterians". Originally released in 1957 as "Chikyu Boeigun", (literally translated "Earth Defence Force"), a Japanese science fiction thriller.

Directed by Ishiro Honda, the film stars Kenji Sahara, Yumi Shirakawa, Momoko Kochi, Akihiko Hirata, and Takashi Shimura.

For the film buffs, this movie was initially released in the U.S. by RKO, but RKO were having financial difficulties at the time. As a result, it seems that MGM took over while the movie was still in its first release. This poster is from the original, RKO release.

Note that this poster was issued folded. It has minor fold and border wear, but, is in really nice condition and (as our photos show) displays well.
