Wow! A guaranteed original promotional movie still from Alexander Mackendrick's crime caper "The Ladykillers", starring Alec Guinness, Katie Johnson, Cecil Parker, Herbert Lom, Peter Sellers, Danny Green, Jack Warner and Frankie Howerd, with an Oscar nominated screenplay by William Rose.

Produced by the famous Ealing Studios, this superb black comedy is set in London's King Cross, where the sinister Professor Marcus (Guinness) rents a room from the unsuspecting Mrs Wilberforce and moves in his gang disguised as an amateur string quintet. Can they carry out their heist and make away with the money without Mrs Wilberforce suspecting?

Ranked the 13th greatest British film by the BFI, it also holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Not bad for a 71 year old film!

This wonderful promotional movie still, showing the would-be string quintet in action, would have been used for promotion during the film's 1956 U.S. release. We love it!

It is in superb condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
