What a movie poster!

A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1974 for William Beaudine and Norman Foster's classic superhero crime thriller "The Green Hornet" starring Bruce Lee, Van Williams, Wende Wagner, Lloyd Gough and Walter Brooke.

The Green Hornet TV series ran on ABC from 1966 to 1967, with Van Williams as the titular character and Bruce Lee as Kato. Over twenty six episodes, the masked super-hero and his martial arts expert side-kick fought crime while hiding in plain sight as a newspaper publisher and his chauffeur.

Following the success of Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon, a feature-length film was released based on a compilation of a number of the TV show episodes. This wonderful movie poster was produced to promote that 1974 movie.

The studio were capitalising on Bruce Lee's new fame to such an extent, that one might believe the film was called Kato! The poster also includes Lee with nun-chucks, which are actually from Enter the Dragon!

It was originally issued folded, but has since been linen-backed and as our photos show, will look fantastic framed and on the wall of any Bruce Lee fan!

By the way, Tarantino's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood features Mike Moh as Bruce Lee in full Green Hornet get up!
