Perhaps one of the most powerful and influential films ever made. It is simply stunning. When three friends leave their Slavic-American steel-working community to fight in the Vietnam War, their lives are changed forever, in very different ways.

Starring Robert De Niro, John Cazale, John Savage, Meryl Streep and Christopher Walken, this incredible film would be nominated for nine Oscars, with the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Walken) awards among its five wins.

It is perhaps the controversial Russian Roulette scene that sticks in the mind the most, but The Deer Hunter is far more than that. It cleverly explores the different impacts of war on combatants and those who remain at home. Such an important film.

This superb movie still shows Robert De Niro as Staff Sergeant Mikhail Vronsky. It would have been used for promotion during the film's release. 

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
