A guaranteed original '8 x 10' movie still from 1980 for John Landis' blues crime comedy "The Blues Brothers", starring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi.

Written by Landis and Aykroyd, The Blues Brothers tells of Jake and Elwood Blues, as they set out on a 'mission from God' to save the orphanage in which they were raised.

The film's cast is astonishing, bringing together many legends of blues music, including Ray Charles, James Brown, Cab Colloway, Aretha Franklin, Steve Cropper, John Lee Hooker and Joe Walsh with Carrie Fisher, John Candy and even Steven Spielberg as a County Assessor.

This superb movie still shows Jake and Elwood sitting in the Soul Food Cafe as its proprietor (Aretha Franklin) sings "THINK!" to dissuade (unsuccessfully) her husband from joining The Blues Brother's band. It would have been snapped by a Unit Still Photographer and then used for promotion during the film's release.

It is in lovely condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look wonderful on display!

By the way, the Soul Food Cafe was actually Nate's Delicatessen, at 807 West Maxwell Street in Chicago. It was demolished in 1995 as the University of Illinois expanded in to the area.
