A guaranteed original '8x10' theatrical movie still from Vittorio De Sica's 1948 neorealist drama "Ladri Di Biciclette", released in English as "The Bicycle Thief" (but the more literal translation is "The Bicycle Thieves").
Based on a novel by Luigi Bartolini and starring Enzo Staiola and Lamberto Maggiorani, the movie follows a poor father as he searches for his stolen bicycle without which he will surely lose his job.
Recipient of an honorary Oscar for Most Outstanding Foreign Language Film, Sight and Sound magazine also deemed it The Greatest Film of All Time in 1952. What an accolade!
This superb movie still would have been taken by a Unit Still Photographer during production of the film and then used for publicity during the film's U.S. release in 1950. As our photos show, this wonderful piece of cinema history will look incredible framed and on display!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
