A guaranteed original Italian 'one panel' / '2 fogli' movie poster from a 1981 release of Michael Lindsay-Hogg's album making documentary "Let It Be", featuring the fab four, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The Beatles' Let It Be album was the troubled child of a plan to develop a new album that could be played live on broadcast TV, with a documentary chronicling the music's development.
When the album stalled, the TV broadcast was shelved and the project became the 1970 movie Let It Be. It would win the Best Original Score Oscar.
This wonderful large movie poster was produced for a 1981 release of the film in Italy. It is quite unusual, showing the group in the earlier 'mop top' phase, rather than their more mature look of 1970!
It was originally issued folded and has remained so. If the future owner required, we could liaise with a paper conservator to arrange linen-backing on their behalf.
By the way, the original name for the album and TV broadcast, would be used for Peter Jackson's 2021 three part documentary series, Get Back. This includes a wonderful segment of the roof-top concert. Do look it out!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
