A guaranteed original and framed 8x10 movie still from 1970 for Michael Lindsay-Hogg's album making documentary "Let It Be", featuring the fab four, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
The Beatles' Let It Be album was the troubled child of a plan to develop a new album that could be played live on broadcast TV, with a documentary chronicling the music's development.
When the album stalled, the TV broadcast was shelved and the project became the film Let It Be.
This wonderful movie still captures John Lennon during the famous rooftop concert at the Beatles' Apple HQ at 3, Saville Row. It would have been snapped by a Unit Still Photographer during the concert, perhaps Ethan Russell who had opportunistically landed a role as a photographer for the Let It Be project.
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, the original name for the album and TV broadcast, would be used for Peter Jackson's 2021 three part documentary series, Get Back. This includes a wonderful segment on the roof-top concert. Do look it out!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
