A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2008 for Roger Donaldson's crime thriller "The Bank Job", based on the 1971 robbery from Lloyds Bank at Baker Street, London.
The original robbery happened on the 11th September 1971, when an estimated £3M worth of cash and valuables was stolen from safety deposit boxes by a gang that tunnelled in to the bank's vault. Only £231K was ever recovered.
This fantastic movie adaptation stars Jason Statham as 'Terry Leather', tasked with pulling together a team for the robbery. Saffron Burrows, Richard Lintern, Keeley Hawes, David Suchet and Peter Bowles are among the superb supporting cast in a now under-appreciated film that is both entertaining and very well directed.
This original movie poster has never been folded and is in super condition. Being double-sided it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing.
By the way, there were rumours that the British establishment ordered a news black-out of the real robbery due to compromising photos within the vault. Those claims are now disputed.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
