Based on the 1993 book "Howard Hughes: The Secret Life" by Charles Higham, the movie portrays the life of film-maker and aviation magnate Howard Hughes and his struggle to cope with the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) that would render him a recluse in later life.

This superb film was nominated for eleven Academy Awards (including 'Best Picture' and 'Best Director'), taking home an impressive five Oscars.
