A guaranteed original 'one sheet' movie poster from 1989 for Terry Gilliam's fantasy comedy "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen", based on the 1785 book "Baron Muchausen's Narrative of his Marvellous Travels and Campaigns in Russia" by Rudolf Erich Raspe.

Gilliam's career post Mython Python has been mixed and this film is a perfect example. The movie only took $8M at the box office against its production budget of $46M. It was however lauded by critics and was nominated for four Oscars! I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time.

The cast is superb, with fellow Python Eric Idle joined by John Neville, Sarah Polley, Oliver Reed, Uma Thurman and Jonathan Pryce, in a fantastical adventure that spans war-torn Europe, the South Seas, Turkey and, the moon!

The third of Gilliam's "Trilogy of Imagination", after Time Bandits (1981) and Brazil (1985), if you missed it first time around, this is definitely a film worth finding.

This very rare poster has never been folded and is in super condition.
