How amazing is this?!

A guaranteed original U.S. soundtrack poster from 1978 for D.C. Comics "Superman", starring Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel.

Reeve was brilliantly cast and played the bumbling Clark Kent as well as he played the super hero. With a budget of $55 million, it was, at the time, the most expensive film ever made. The stellar cast, including Gene Hackman as a fabulous Lex Luther, and superb special effects (which earned it a special Oscar for Visual Effects) helped it achieve fantastic box office success, spawning three sequels.

This is a fantastic poster! It was sent by Warner Bros to record stores together with the date that the film would be playing in their area. It was originally issued folded, but was recently linen backed and restored by our paper conservators and as our photos show, now looks INCREDIBLE!

Framed and on display in a stylish home, this is an amazing talking point poster. I doubt there is another example that displays as well as this!

This film gave birth to the super-hero block buster that now dominates a lot of modern cinema. With James Gunn rebooting the DC cinematic universe, Superman's big screen story will continue for some time.
