"Tonight is what it means to be young."
A guaranteed original one sheet teaser movie poster from 1984 for Walter Hill's rock and roll musical thriller "Streets of Fire", starring Michael Pare, Diane Lane, Rick Moranis, Amy Madigan, Bill Paxton, Lee Ving, Marine Jahan and (a very young looking) Willem Dafoe.
The basis for the film was everything that Walter Hill liked as a teenager... Cool cars, kisses in the rain, neon, high-speed pursuits, rock stars, motorcycles, jokes in tough situations, leather jackets and the importance of honour!
The resulting film sounds improbable when described and perhaps even harder to believe when seen!
This single-sided movie poster was used in a U.S. movie theatre to tease the film ahead of its release. Unusually for movie posters, the printing is more akin to screen printing than lithography. It has never been folded and shows just a few signs of previous handling. It will look incredible framed and on the wall of any fan of this now cult film!
By the way, an unofficial sequel, Road to Hell, was made in 2008!
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
