"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…"

Days after selling our last one we managed to find one more!

A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2024 for the 25th Anniversary release of George Lucas' 1999 prequel, "The Phantom Menace", Star Wars Episode I.

The first of a trilogy of prequel films, this fantastic movie stars Liam Neeson (as 'Qui-Gon Jinn'), Ewan McGregor (as the younger 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'), Natalie Portman (as 'Queen Padme Amidala') and Jake Lloyd (as 'Anakin Skywalker'), together with a host of new characters, including 'Darth Maul' and (to many fans angst) 'Jar Jar Binks'.

We recently re-watched this movie and it really does stand the test of time. The blend of CGI and real-world models (apparently more were made for this film than for the original trilogy) really works and there are some amazing action set pieces. Who wouldn't love to be in a pod race?!

This incredible double-sided movie poster was produced for the 25th Anniversary release of the film. It was painted by British artist Matt Ferguson, adding to his posters for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It has never been folded and as our photos show, has only the most minor signs of being used in a U.K. cinema. We love it!

Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in either an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing. Either way, it will look fantastic!

By the way, an eagle-eyed customer recently pointed out that a few scenes from the movie set on Naboo are filmed at Whippendell Wood, a mile or two up the road from AotM HQ. Who would have thought it?!

By the way too, I have always wondered why they released the film on the third of May, rather than May the 4th!!

We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.

Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
