The second of three films set after the original Star Wars trilogy, "The Last Jedi" sees Luke Skywalker's final battle in defence of the dwindling rebellion.

Together with our old favourites (Mark Hamill as "Luke Skywalker", Harrison Ford as "Han Solo" and Carrie Fisher as "Princess Leia Organa"), the film continues the stories of a host of new characters, Adam Driver (as “Kylo Ren”), Daisy Ridley (as “Rey”), John Boyega (as “Finn”) and Oscar Isaac (as “Poe Dameron”).

Principal photography was undertaken at Pinewood Studios near London, with on location filming in Mexico and Skellig Michael, a small island off the coast of Ireland.

Released the year after her death, "The Last Jedi" proved to the final time Carrie Fisher would play Princess Leia, a role for which she will always be remembered.
