A guaranteed original Japanese teaser 'B2' movie poster from 2015 for "The Force Awakens", Star Wars Episode VII.

The first of three films set after the original Star Wars trilogy, "The Force Awakens" continues the galactic struggle between light and dark.

Together with our old favourites (Mark Hamill as "Luke Skywalker", Harrison Ford as "Han Solo" and Carrie Fisher as "Princess Leia Organa"), the film introduces a host of new characters to take the genre forward, Adam Driver (as “Kylo Ren”), Daisy Ridley (as “Rey”), John Boyega (as “Finn”) and Oscar Isaac (as “Poe Dameron”).

Principal photography was undertaken at Pinewood Studios near London, with on location filming in Abu Dhabi, Iceland and Skellig Michael, a small island off the coast of Ireland.

After the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney, the reboot of the Star Wars franchise was met with both excitement and terror. However, especially given the weight of anticipation, "The Force Awakens" provided a worthy opener to a new Star Wars era.

R2-D2 and C-3PO have a special place in Star Wars fans' hearts. The latest trilogy has achieved something similar with BB8. This poster is one of a few to focus on the droids alone. (By the way - did you ever find out why C-3PO has a red arm? The answer is surprisingly deep.)
