A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1980 for "The Empire Strikes Back", sequel to 1977's "Star Wars"
Perhaps the most highly regarded of the Star Wars sequels.
Based on the story by George Lucas the film starred Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Billy Dee Williams (as "Lando Calrissian"), Frank Oz (as "Yoda") and a host of actors now very familiar to all movie fans.
This is an AMAZING poster, with artwork by movie poster legend Roger Kastel. The more and the closer you look at it, the better it is. Due to the similarity to the classic Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh pose, this poster is commonly referred to as the "Gone With The Wind" style poster.
This example had never been folded and has recently been linen-backed by our paper conservators. It is an incredible poster and as our photos show, will look amazing as a centre piece of any Star Wars collection. So good, it is almost a shame to sell it. We adore it.
