A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1997 for the special edition cinema release of George Lucas' sci-fi adventure classic "Star Wars". 

Written and directed by Lucas and nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

Now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope," this seminal blockbuster was re-released on 31st January 1997, with The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi following in February and March of the same year.

For these releases, George Lucas turned to movie poster legend Drew Struzan to create three posters that work together as a single image 'triptych'. Lucas was so pleased with the results, he turned to Struzan to produce the posters for the prequel trilogy, dictating that his images should be used on posters across the world.

This wonderful single-sided movie poster has never been folded and as our photos show, is in fantastic condition. It will look incredible framed and on the wall of any Star Wars fan!
