This is a big and rare one!

A guaranteed original U.S. '40x60' movie poster from 1977 for director John Badham's disco romance "Saturday Night Fever" starring John Travolta and Karen Lynn Gorney.

This iconic image captures Travolta as 'Tony Manero', budding king of the multi-colour dance floor in New York's disco scene. A role that would land him his first Best Actor Oscar nomination.

Whilst a huge commercial success on its release (an amazing box office of $237M against a production budget of only $3M), the film has perhaps lain under-appreciated for a number of years. Whilst it is a fantastic period piece on the New York disco subculture, it is also a far deeper film and the performances (particularly Travolta's) are superb. 

Oh - and of course the soundtrack is amazing too! (Admit in, you can hear the Bee Gees in your head!)

This superb movie poster is a rarer larger '40x60' U.S. format. The larger image makes for a superb centre piece in any stylish location!

It has never been folded and as our photos show, is in wonderful condition. (We have included a photo of the top right hand corner as it looks like the printers sliced the corner off, but this will not be visible when framed.)
