A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster for Sylvester Stallone's boxing sequel, 1982's "Rocky III", with Stallone reprising the Italian Stallion, Rocky Balboa.

Alongside Stallone, Carl Weathers, Burgess Meredith, Talia Shire, Burt Young and Tony Burton return, with Mr. T and Hulk Hogan making their feature film debuts.

It's impossible to think of this film without hearing Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" and Mr. T. growling "I pity the fool!". In fact Mr. T.'s Clubber Lang ranks alongside Dolph Lundgrens's Ivan Drago as the ultimate boxing baddy. A really fantastic film that took an amazing $270M against its $17M budget!

This poster is still folded, as it was issued. It could be framed 'as-is', or the new owner may choose to have it linen-backed. This would flatten the poster and help reduce visibility of the fold-lines. Either way, as you can see from our photos, it is in super condition and displays really well.

A truly iconic character, Rocky Balboa was still appearing in sequels in the 2010s and ranks as one of the great sports' film characters.
