A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1982 for Steven Spielberg and George Lucas' adventure epic, "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

Nominated for eight Oscars, and winning five, Raiders stars Harrison Ford (as "Dr. Henry 'Indiana' Jones Jr.") and Karen Allen (as "Marion Ravenwood"). The original story was actually written by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman, inspired by the film series they had watched in Saturday morning cinemas as children.

Although many scenes were filmed Internationally, production was based at Elstree Studios, a few miles down the road from our HQ.

This incredible movie poster has artwork by the legendary Richard Amsel. Just look at the detail he got in to his artwork. It is astonishing! This poster was designed for the 1982 release of the film and is the version preferred by many collectors.

It was originally issued folded, but has just been linen-backed by our paper conservators and as our photos show, looks absolutely amazing! A really special poster for the movie lover in you life!
