A guaranteed original U.S. 'half sheet' movie poster from 1980 for Martin Scorsese's boxing biography "Raging Bull", based on the book by Jake LaMotta (the subject of the book and film), Joseph Carter and Peter Savage.

Nominated for eight Academy Awards (winning two, including Best Actor) the film stars Robert De Niro as boxer Jake LaMotta, alongside Joe Pesci and Cathy Moriarty. Originally criticised for its intensity and violence, the movie is now regarded as one of Scorsese and De Niro's finest collaborations.

By the way, De Niro famously put on 60 pounds (well over four stone) for the scenes where LaMotta was a fat and out of shape boxer!

Believe it or not, this incredible poster is illustration, rather than photography, with amazing art by Kunio Hagio. It has never been folded and as our high resolution photographs show, will look amazing framed and on display!
