An original Belgian poster from the 1950's for James Parrott's screwball comedy "Pardon Us", released in French as "Sous Les Verrous" and starring the classic comedy duo Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.

The slapstick friends' first full length feature is set during the prohibition. When they try to sell their excess home brew, they find themselves thrown in to jail as prisoners 44633 and 44634. Can they fit-in with the toughest in mates? Can they escape? Can they stop a prison riot? Probably!

This is an unusual poster and we have not been able to track down another. Printed in Belgium, it carries a translation of the film's title in both French and Dutch. We imagine that it was produced for use across the Benelux region. As our photos show, it carries a fantastic caricature of the 'locked up' comedy duo and will look superb framed and on display!
