Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning biography American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, Nolan's eagerly anticipated movie follows the head of the U.S. project to create the first nuclear weapon. Dumbed 'the father of the atomic bomb', J. Robert Oppenheimer was subsequently critical of the use of his creation on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.

With an amazing cast and Nolan's incredible film-making pedigree, this is one of the films of the year. (Oh, and if you haven't listened to it, do check out Ludwig Goransson's soundtrack for the movie. What a work of art!)

This super movie poster is designed to look like a reel of film and was produced for UK IMAX cinemas. As there are fewer of them than normal big-screens, IMAX posters are always produced in smaller numbers. We were lucky to track a few down! Being double-sided it is suitable for both traditional framing and use in an Art of the Movies Light Box.

By the way, in an interview with Total Film, Nolan stated "I think of any character I’ve dealt with, Oppenheimer is by far the most ambiguous and paradoxical. Which, given that I’ve made three Batman films, is saying a lot."
