A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1984 for Sergio Leone's epic crime thriller, "Once Upon A Time In America" starring Robert De Niro, James Woods, Elizabeth McGovern, Joe Pesci, Burt Young, Tuesday Weld and Treat Williams.

Segio Leone's final film is a tale of friendship, love, greed, betrayal and loss, following a group of Jewish ghetto kids as they grow in to New York organised crime gangsters. Leone originally envisaged a story split in to two three-hour movies, but was persuaded to edit to a single 3 hour 49 minute film.

Without Leone's involvement, the U.S. distributors cut another hour and a half from the director's film. The result was a disjointed flop that was panned by critics. 

However, Leone's version (the 'European Cut') has been hailed as a masterpiece, frequently appearing on 'Best Ever' lists.

The image on this incredible movie poster is as iconic as it comes. Taken from the corner of Brooklyn's Washington and Water Streets, it shows Manhattan Bridge with the Empire State Building visible through the bridge's towers.

This wonderful example was originally issued folded, but has just been linen-backed by our paper conservators and as our photos show, looks absolutely amazing! A really special poster for the lover of classic cinema!
