A guaranteed original Australian Daybill movie poster from 1979 for Vince Edwards and Christan I. Nyby II's science fiction sequel "Battlestar Galactica: The Cylon Attack", starring Richard Hatch, Lorne Greene, Dirk Benedict and Maren Jensen.

Glen A. Larson originally came up with the story of the Galactica in the 1960s, but was unable to secure funding. The success of 1977's Star Wars paved the way, for what Larson envisaged as a series of made for TV movies. Given its production values, the first pilot episode was actually released in cinemas. The subsequent story was then run as a series of one hour weekly TV shows.

The Cylon Attack is a re-edited version of the TV episodes The Living Legend (parts 1 and 2) and Fire In Space. It was released in cinemas / movie theatres in the US and Australia in 1979, the UK in 1980 and then Japan in 1981.

This superb poster from the original Australian release has fantastic artwork by Robert Tanenbaum. It was issued folded and is in lovely condition. As our photos show, it will look great framed and on display!
