A special find - a fantastic and guaranteed original U.K. Quad movie poster from the 2012 release of Steven Spielberg's 1975 masterpiece "Jaws", starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss and Lorraine Gary.
Based on Peter Benchley's 1974 novel, Spielberg's outstanding film is frequently listed as one of the greatest films ever made. I am still surprised that for its original release it was given a 'A' rating in the UK. At the time, that did not prevent children from seeing the film. That resulted in me being taken to see it when I was four! (It was given a 12A rating for its 2012 release.)
Is there a more iconic movie poster? The fantastic artwork is by the great Roger Kastel. It was originally painted for the cover of Benchley's novel, but was so good, it was retained for the film too.
Movie posters for this film are hard to come by. This amazing example, produced for 2012 release, is double-sided, has never been folded and displays superbly (as our hi-res photos show). Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Quad Light Box or traditional framing.
