Based on the Ian Fleming novel of the same name, Goldfinger is the third of the Bond films and the first to win an Oscar. Can you say the movie's title in your head without it sounding like Shirley Bassey? What a title song - and what a film - the movie defined 007 in film and introduced so much of what we now take for granted, "A martini, shaken not stirred..." anyone?

This fantastic movie still, showing Bond with perhaps the most famous car in the world, the iconic Silver Birch 1964 Aston Martin DB5, was used for promotion during the film's release.
