A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1996 for Mary Harron's fictionalised docudrama "I Shot Andy Warhol", starring Lili Taylor, Stephen Dorff, Jared Harris, Martha Plimpton, Lothaire Bluteau, Anna Levine and Tahnee Welch.

On the 3rd June 1968, Andy Warhol and his curator, Mario Amaya, were shot and wounded outside the artist's famous studio, The Factory. A day later Valerie Solanos turned herself in stating that Warhol had "... had too much control over her life". Warhol would have to wear a surgical corset for the rest of his life.

Critically acclaimed and worth a watch for any fan of modern art or popular culture, this independent film starts with the shooting, before exploring, in flashback, Valerie's time in New York up to the day she pulled a gun on Warhol.

This fantastic single-sided poster is styled after Warhol's 'Triple Elvis' artwork, with Valerie replacing the King of Rock and Roll. It has never been folded and as our photos show, displays very well. A superb talking point poster for any art fan.
