A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1984 for Steven Spielberg and Joe Dante's horror monster comedy "Gremlins", written by Chris Columbus ("Home Alone", "Adventures In Babysitting" and many others).

The term 'gremlin' was coined during World War II when Royal Air Force engineers would blame failures on the mysterious little monsters! Thirty years later, Columbus was lying awake listening to mice scuttling around in his loft when the idea for the film came to him.

Starring Phoebe Cates, Zach Gilligan, Hoyt Axton, Polly Holliday and Frances Lee McCain (and with cameos by Steven Spielberg and Chuck Jones) the movie would prove a smash at the box office and is a firm favourites amongst the children of the '80s!

This incredible poster is by movie poster legend John Alvin. It gave very little away of the Gremlins, saving the surprise for when movie goers were at the big screen! (Due to its popularity, the film was re-released a year later, but this time the poster had a Gremlin bursting out of the box!)

Unusually for the time and for this film, this poster has never been folded and is in super condition, with only very minor signs of its close to four decades! It will look fantastic framed and on the wall!
