A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1987 for Stanley Kubrick's Vietnam War psychological drama "Full Metal Jacket" starring Matthew Modine, R. Lee Emery, Vincent D'Onofrio and Adam Baldwin.

Based on the 1979 novel The Short-Timers by Gustav Hasford, this astonishing film follows two Privates through their training to the Tet Offensive of the Vietnam War. It gained an Oscar nomination in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.

This incredible poster, with Philip Castle's iconic artwork of the soldier's helmet, is in superb condition and unusually for the time, has never been folded. A really fantastic piece for any fan of Kubrick's work!

By the way, perhaps unbelievably, the film was shot entirely in England. Scenes were filmed at the part demolished Beckton Gas Works, with over 100,000 plastic tropical plants!
