A guaranteed original and framed 8x10 movie still from 1987 for Stanley Kubrick's Vietnam War psychological drama "Full Metal Jacket" starring Matthew Modine, R. Lee Emery, Vincent D'Onofrio and Adam Baldwin.
Based on the 1979 novel The Short-Timers by Gustav Hasford, this astonishing film follows two Privates through their training to the Tet Offensive of the Vietnam War. It gained an Oscar nomination in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.
Shouting Gunnery Sergeant Hartman was played by R. Lee Ermey. His incredible performance was only half-scripted. He improvised the rest based on his own experience as a real life U.S. Marine drill instructor!
This incredible movie still, showing him with his new recruits, would have been taken by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for publicity during the film's release.
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, perhaps unbelievably, the film was shot entirely in England. Scenes were filmed at the part demolished Beckton Gas Works, with over 100,000 plastic tropical plants!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
