A guaranteed original U.S. 'half sheet' movie poster (a rarer format) from 1980 for Alan Parker's musical drama "Fame", starring Irene Cara (singer of the theme tune), Lee Curreri, Albert Hague, Paul McCrane and Anne Meara.

Based at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts, this Oscar winning movie follows a fictional group of students as they struggle with the high and lows of trying to make it in the hardest business on earth. Even those of us who didn't see the film were captivated by the follow up TV show, with the weekly dose of Coco, Bruno, Lisa (and gang) the highlight of the week for many teenagers of the 1980s.
