A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1981 for John Carpenter's dystopian adventure sci-fi "Escape From New York", starring Kurt Russell, Lee Van Cleef, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasence, Isaac Hayes, Harry Dean Stanton and Adrienne Barbeau.

An independent film, produced for a 'modest' $6M, Escape From New York won plaudits for its world-building and action sequences and took over $50M at the box office. But, it really took off on VHS home rental and on video disc, finding an audience that definitely classes this film a cult classic! 

A sequel, Escape From L.A., followed in 1996.

This fantastic movie still, showing Russell's Snake Plissken, would have been used for publicity at the time of the film's release. 

It is in superb condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
